slow medium fast
Slow Medium Fast is a magazine I designed for a second year brief. The aim was to take a profession or group of people who don't have a magazine based on them and create a whole publication to represent them. I chose to design a magazine for lifeguards, I knew a lot about this as I had worked as a part time life guard for six years, I had also grown slightly tired of it, resulting in the magazine being a fairly tongue-in-cheek look at the profession.
I used french folding and perfect binding on the magazine, printing the content on the back side of florescent orange paper. I also created a pull-out photo sheet and poster and presented it in a clear plastic bag so you can take it to read on poolside. The size of the magazine is also directly proportional to a 25 x 15 metre swimming pool.
